Introduction

The program gffcompare can be used to compare, merge, annotate and estimate accuracy of one or more GFF files (the “query” files), when compared with a reference annotation (also provided as GFF). ¹

Installed version

The currently installed version is available on environment hpc-env/6.4:

GffCompare/0.10.1-foss-2017b
GffCompare/0.10.6-foss-2017b

Using GffCompare

If you want to find out more about GffCompare on the HPC Cluster, you can use the command

module spider GffCompare

This will show you basic informations e.g. a short description and the currently installed version.

To load the desired version of the module, use the command, e.g.

module load hpc-env 6.4
module load GffCompare

Always remember: this command is case sensitive!

To get more Information about how to use the program (e.g. commands, options) just type into the shell:

gffcompare

(Module must be loaded first!)
