  • Using HPC Clusters
  • Parallel Programming Models
  • Introduction to MPI
  • Introduction to OpenMP
  • Using Matlab Distributed Compute Server (MDCS)

  • Data Storage and Management

Organisation

The lecture is held currently every summer semester. Please go to Stud.IP for more details and course registration:

The course is now also assigned to several modules in the Master:

  • phy341 (Advanced Subject-Specific Module I)
  • phy351 (Advanced Subject-Specific Module II)
  • phy355 (Elective Courses in Physics)
  • che472 (Practical course theoretical chemistry)

You can earn 3 credit points (KP) for the course (with or without a grade). The details and the requirements for earning credit points depend on the module taken and should be enquired from the person responsible for the module. Some more information will be given at the start of course, as well.
