We kindly ask you to acknowledge the HPC system within research articles that were supported by the HPC facilities FLOW/HERO. Note that you might also want to refer to the HPC system within an application for a research project that plans to obtain support from the HPC facilities.

Depending on whether you would like to refer to the HPC component FLOW or HERO, please choose an appropriate acknowledging statement similar to:

Exemplary acknowledgment statement for the HPC cluster HERO:

The simulations were performed at the HPC Cluster HERO, located at the University of Oldenburg (Germany) and funded by the DFG through its Major Research Instrumentation Programme (INST 184/108-1 FUGG) and the Ministry of Science and Culture (MWK) of the Lower Saxony State.

Exemplary acknowledgment statement for the HPC cluster FLOW:

The simulations were performed at the HPC Cluster FLOW (Facility for Large-Scale COmputations in Wind Energy Research), located at the University of Oldenburg (Germany) and funded by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (Bundesministerium für Umwelt, Naturschutz und Reaktorsicherheit, BMU, grant no. 0325220).
