Note:

  • The commands in the box below has to be stored in file called install_wrf_gcc_ompi.sh.
  • To execute the script please set the execution permissions by chmod 755 install_wrf_gcc_ompi.sh.
  • usage is install_wrf_gcc_ompi.sh WRF_RELEASE DIR_TO_TAR_GZ_FILES
  • The final installation of WRF and WPS will be in the directories WRFV3_v${WRF_RELEASE}_gcc_ompi and WPS_v${WRF_RELEASE]_gcc_ompi, respectively
  • The orginal folders WRFV3 and WPS will be removed during the installation process!
