In one year the cluster will have a total computing time of 60 million computing hours (core hours). Two AGs in the Institute X needed 2 and 3 million core hours respectively. Correspondingly, basic fees of 800€ and 1,200€ are charged.
If in addition the sum of all basic fees amounts to 15.000€ (i.e. 1,000€ too little), then the AGs have to pay an additional usage-dependent share of 33.33€ or 50.00€ (3.33% or 5%, respectively from 1.000€). The institute will therefore be charged a total of 2083.33€. (broken down according to the AGs).
